Karaoke Session on Wednesday Night~

Wednesday Night?? Ladies night! Miss Hana and I went for karaoke at Go-Go KTV yesterday night, sang and dance for two long hours. You're right! Just the two of us. Initially we did ajak the guys out but Lin Pin had to meet a client, Alex had a movie to catch, while Cheok had a block nose. However, nothing's gonna stop both Hana and I from partying! Afterall, its our ladies night out. LOL.

We started out with some alternative rock to slow emo songs and then to some funkay songs. Since only the two of us in the room, we sing, we dance and sing and dance~ Had many oldist songs like My Way, Jambalaya, Mr Postman, ABBA. We LOVE ABBA! Hahaha.. Dancing Queen huh~ lol. Later, we brought ourselves back to the 90s with Spice Girls! yoohoo! Sang and dance along with Spice Up Your Life and Wannabe. Arghhh.. I miss Spice Girls alot alot. Hana was hot! She dance as if there's no tomorrow... too bad I'm just too shy to dance even though only Hana was with me. Haha. I suck.

After an hour half, the guys decided to hop by to join us; so we extended another hour just for them. Alex said I always like to choose hot and funkay songs where we can dance and enjoy ourselves rather than the typical emo songs that we used to sing every single time we come for karaoke. Well, that's the bomb man!!! We come to sing happily, not to sing emo songs only. Haha. In a nutshell, we enjoyed ourselves very much! =) Alrite, I better post up some piccas before I bored you out. :p

Soon after karaoke session, we decided to stop by Pure since it's still early. Also, yesterday was the last day the band will be playing in Pure. Didn't drink or dance yesterday, just chilling out, enjoying the music until 11plus. My cousin's gang was there too, after-exam celebration for them. :P

As for as I remember, I have not blog about my internship experience here. Well, I did a month ago but Blogger tried to be funny with me and all the pictures I'd posted GONE! So here I am again attempting to blog about it once more.. If Blogger ever tries to be funny with me again, I shall stop blogging for a month!

Frankly speaking doing my internship in an insurance company (ING) isn't an interesting one. Besides convincing and selling insurance to people, we do nothing. Easy or difficult is depend on individual, for me I would say it's hard because I really have no interest in this field, hence lack of motivation to actually promote and convince the others to buy. Also not to make myself more enemies la~ Haha.

One thing good about doing internship in insurance company is that you have very flexible time. You can manage your time according to your schedule. In the first few weeks we usually get to go home earlier and usually we will just hang out and do some other stuff like...

This routine lasted only for the first few weeks as later we tend to get bored and it really burns a hole in our wallet!! Nowadays, we usually will go back home if we are allowed to go home early. So yea, many of my friends were saying this isn't internship, it's more like a 4-months holiday. Haha.. partly true, but lately the intensity is getting strong and stress slowly comes to play. Two of my friends (colleagues) had closed a deal and now remain Alex and I. It sucks to feel the pressure especially when you have to do something you dislike and when you are out of idea who to approach. People, give me support la k~ I hate to do this but I have to...

Saving Plan : IPIP 12 and IFPI 20/15

Basically ING saving plans act like a FD (fixed deposit) in bank, just that it gives you higher interest rate than bank. Currently bank's FD interest rate is around 3.5%, but ING gives you at least 6-8%.

IPIP 12: - Save a minimum amount of RM400 per month for 12 years and after 12 years, ING will pay you dividend each year. In this case for example:

On the 13th year : ING pays RM5600 per year.

14th-20th year : ING pays RM3000 per year.

21st year onwards : ING pays RM3400 until age 100.

This RM400 plan includes a Free Protection of RM35000 for death and disability.

All these while I've been shopping with my girls, sad to say I feel that I'm one of those who can't stand waiting for them to take an hour finding and digging for clothes, another hour in the fitting room, half an hour to ask for our opinion, and plus an hour to consider whether to purchase it or not. That makes the equation of :

1hour+1hour+1/2hour+1hour = 3 and half hours to shop.


I'm a little different myself, or should I say I do not have the ciri-ciri kewanitaan in me. I do not like fresh orange juice, I do not like ice lemon tea, I do not like cheese cake, I do not fancy soft toys, I do not go crazy about shoes, I do not get extremely excited to cute items, I do not hide under the sun, and I do not shop like them. I feel like a guy! Haha.

Anyway, yesterday was the first time I ever shop with the guys. It was after work, the guys planned to drop by MP and DP to hunt for their stuff. What I love shopping with the guys is that they have thought of the stuff they wanted before hand, then go to the destination and hunt for it. That's it, so simple. That makes the equation of :

Thinks of the stuff+ destination+ Yes = Buy it!

or

Thinks of the stuff+ destination+ NO = Forget it! Next shop.


Pretty much like me, I thought of the kinda clothes, shoes I want before hand and straight head to the store. Don't have it, forget it! Or I'll just walk around the store one round, nothing catch my eyes, out I go! Simple. Unlike the guys, girls usually go to the destination and start to hunt. The equation :

Destination+ find & dig+ nothing interesting+ continue find & dig until = TADA! found one!

Now that's the difference of the way guys and girls shop. =)

My 21st.

June 29, I'm no longer a teenager anymore, eventually I have move on to the adulthood. Firstly, I sincerely would like to thank those who wished me via call, sms, facebook, friendster, msn and so on. *clear throats* *drums roll* I would love to thank....

I had dinner with my family on the 28th to celebrate my birthday in advance and then spent most of my time in front of the pc chatting. Until 12am, I had a surprise visit from Lydia and Su! :) :) So sweet of them.. thank u so much! and I got a call from Alex singing birthday song for me while he was in Kajang at Joanne's birthday party who co-incidently falls on the same day as me. LOL. Thank u dear :) Soon, my hp got busier.

29 June, unfortunately, Alex got stuck in Kajang because the next bus available is at 2.30pm, while Daeren was very busy due to his IT fair too. So, the initial afternoon plan to sing karaoke cancelled. Got really bored... almost wanted to pay a visit at our very proud new GSC in Dataran, but I changed my plan and drove all the way to town just to get myself a slice of Nadeje layer cake. yummy~ ( I know petrol naik la! hahaha )

Later that night, Alex brought me to More Cafe for dinner and; Daeren and Val were there too. It was supposed to be a surprise, but I guess I just figured out that both of them will be there. :) Heheee.. Come on, who else will suggest More Cafe other than both of you! lol. Anyhow, I really appreciate for the lovely dinner and super chocolatie cake. Hahahaa.. Thank u soooo much! huuugss! Oh ya, it's surprising that I did not dress up for my birthday dinner considered myself a vain pot. Gosh, what was wrong with me!






After dinner, all four of us decided to check out the new GSC and catch a movie. Came to know that they are promoting free tickets for the older movies. Cheok and Lin Pin came and joined us too since both of them "boh kang zhou". Hahahaa.. We had a great laugh watching " My Wife is a Gambler smtg smtg ". Even though I turned 21 this year, but my curfew stays the same... 12midnight it is.. how saddening rite? Well, I should be thankful that I still have the freedom to party/hang out till 12 midnight right? Yeap, think the positive side. :) grin*

Yeap, so overall, that's it :) and I'm glad I get to spend time with my family and close friends :) I'm old.. yes I know!!
