Goodbye! Take Care!

Just a couple of hours ago, I decided to follow Alex up to send Nick off at KLIA. Nick is migrating to Australia and his flight was at 7.15pm. Hanky panky us as usual, we set off from Melaka at 4.30pm and we have to reach KLIA latest at 6before Nick goes into the gate. Guess what?! We went up with a SLK!! YES SLK.. Don't play play people. (p/s: SLK= small little kancil). Never underestimate small little cars like Kancil, we managed to reach KLIA in time!

Sadly, we only got to talk to Nick for 15minutes only before his dad rushed him to the gate. Sigh... Just wish that his dad is more considerate to let him spend his last few minutes with us before adpating to a new lifestyle in Australia. What I mean is... the flight is at 7.15pm, going in the gate at 6.30pm won't be that late right? At least think of how much we sacrifice just to send him off, from skipping classes, rent a SLK, rushing up KLIA, the long journey just to send him off. Asking for 30minutes isn't that unreasonable right? Anyway, Nick had no choice but to listen to his dad and went in the gates.. Of coz they did have pictures together before he left. It's with Alex by the way.. will get from him later.

5buddies sending him off.
Nick's sad face... Awww
No matter how gay it may look, guy will still give each other a hug when they are going to be apart for a long time.
Guys will always be guys... they shed no tears. lol
goodbye nick, take care ya!!

5minutes later, another friend of Alex called saying that he reached KLIA d... unfortunately, Nick went in 5minutes ago.. Anyway, the guys claimed that Nick will be back pretty soon... unless he gets a ang mo gf there la! LOL. hahaa.. :)

All in One.

As I mentioned in my previous post, my group are supposed to conduct a seminar for one of our assignments. In spite collaborating with another 8groups to hold a bigger event, my group decided not to join the rest. Let's say it's our ego that brought us here today. Frankly speaking, I always love my group alot, speaking about potential members with different background, colour and ability; a heterogenous group like this might pull of the event successfully. However, despite the advantages with have over another groups, my group has this BIG weakness too.

Advantages:
- We have malay and chinese in our group. The Malays will be useful in dealing with MBMB and Polis Diraja Malaysia to get us permit.
- We have potential people with lotsa contacts such as Mich. Kirks and Hana.
- We have this one guy that are able to get us the VIPs
- We have brilliant leaders like kat that knows how to handle us
- We have crystal that always show us the risk and returns if we do something.
- We have good PRs
- We work cohesively despite of different opinion at times.
- We have vision.

Disadvantages:
- Our ego, pride, and headheaded where everyone stands on their own stance.
- More opinions, more conflict.
- Over confident.

Basically, all of us are head headed and have our own ego but we still manage to stick together as a group and try to work things out. So, last two days we decided to get our permit at the Melaka Tengah Polis Station and discuss with DP management. I'll let the picture do the rest of the talking...

This is probably our 5or6th proposal.
Lydia got stress out while reading our proposal while crystal decided to get a short nap.
Here's mich fighting against Kat, Kirks, and crystal about the layout of the event. She got stress out too.
While they were fighting, Lydia, Ned and I decided to camwhore... well, its just me la. Haha.
two posers
Ned and I

Mich somehow finished her debate and got a pic with me :)
We went to Old Town to have our lunch at 4.30pm
Mich posing as usual
Lydia got stress out til she smile unconciously.
Went to meet Nazim the event planner who increases our budget to 100k!!!
After meeting with everyone, we decided to head over Kat's house for meeting. Actually our main purpose is to watch American Idol while discussing. People, TV and Meeting doesnt go along well. Hahahaa. Later at 10pm, Kat and Kirks sent Crystal to MBO for movies and left me, mich and lydia. Somehow we got bored, and Lydia started to do something useless.....

Once again she's trying to prove to us that she is not a spoilt brat.
She began sweeping kat's house...
It's rather unusual to see Lydia doing housework :P
As for Mich and I, we decided to hang ourselves to death.
unfortunately, the Shinigami (death god) doesnt want us, so we are forced to stay back in this suffering world.

The layout I did for the event.
That's Kat's bolster..
Everyone who comes to his house has the obligation to sign the guest book..
What a master piece, curtosy of MMU. LOL. He's gonna bring it on our graduation day :)
Here's the latest news about our event. We decided to call it off and join the rest due to time and the limited experiences plus the risk we are taking. Not going to further explained.. it takes at least half an hour to tell u why. Anyway, that's about it.. the end of our seminar....

Random pictures:

I had this demostration dance class last monday to promote social dance class to the students. There's Huan Ren and Kelvin dancing. hehee.. It's sounds weird that I help to promote it, but me myself decided to stop dancing, how ironic!
Crazy Moments:
There this day that Lydia, Sue May and I walked towards Ixora when we came across this familiar Toyota Vios. It is Kat's car and we decided to do something crazy.
Lydia started writing love letters.
love u! Muax! XOXO -your secret admirerssss-
And we put it on his car! hahahaha
Now we'll just have to wait for passerby to catch a look at it and have a great laugh! LOL. Anyway, people were looking at us at that time because it was lunch hour... so shyyyyy. Hahahaha!
p/s: We are celebrating freedom from the suffering of the event.

Definition of Stress.

There's no way of defining stress better than the pictures below. I think I have mentioned in my previous posts, this semester all IB students are required to organize a seminar as our assignment. As easy as it sounds, this whole freaking seminar thing makes most of us go crazy.

Don't you guys compare this with the events that you all held in clubs and stuff because we have even more difficulties in every aspect compared to yours. Our lecturer wants us to think out of the box, he expects something big from us, he even wants us to hold a seminar as big as any economic convention at PWTC if possible.

Let's compare why we say that ours is terribly worse than the club's event. First, clubs have budget and we the IB students do not have a budget at all. Don't expect us to wait for money to drop from the sky! Secondly, usually clubs planned one sem ahead if they are going to held a big event and we all only have 1month, equivalent to 4-8weeks!! This is like WTH! How izzit possible to invite a speaker in such a short time, how izzit possible to invite VIP where they are so busy with their election, how izzit possible to get sponsors in such a short time. I know all of them can be done, but all we need is more time. WE NEED TIME. People out there, if you guys are kind enough to sponsor, do email me alrite. We seriously need sponsors. Futhermore, we are doing a seminar and a food fair too. So there will be lotsa food, do come support ya. Details are confidential until further notice from my top management. :P

Michelle got so tense up whenever Crystal increase the budget for our entire event.
after an hour....
after two hours.... still discussing.

after the third hour.... everyone's face turns gloomy.
and of coz this meeting is one of my longest meeting so far. A total of 4hours plus discussing about the entire thing. Let's cross fingers that this event will be a successful one. However deep in my heart I'm afraid that it didn't turn out as we wanted to.. Sigh...and this is only ONE of our assignments out of another 5 subjects. Please pray for me.. I need a massage and spa. Will definitely go for one on either of these days.. anyone interested to join?

Post CNY

First of all, sorry y'all for the 11days absenteeism from this blog. I will not further explained why I went MIA even though there were many interesting and happening things that revolved around me lately. Let me put it in one word to explain it all, Lazy. I'm just lazy for the past 10days and not forgetting with tonnes of workload carrying on my back. Sigh.

Anyway, let's not go deeper into that since I'm here to talk about my CNY this year... alrite.. yea.. I know it's a littlee bit too late for that, but hey! it's not chap goh mei yet and it is still CNY. Gosh.. I'm getting too far again.. Well, I'll just let the picture do the rest of the talking then.

that's my little nephew in a cute silky sam fu.
mua mummy and I
As usual for the peranakan culture, we usually need to soja (its similar to wishing the elderly) before we can grab hold our ang pao into our pockets.
The typical sentence that we usually will say is " panjang panjang umur " which means long life. Then the elderly one will always say " pandai pandai surat " if you are still studying. Every single year the same old sentence. hahaaa.
Take a closer look at jay jay, he had a red ribbon around him! hhee.. so cuteeee..
Jay Jay wants to soja my dad to get ang pao to buy himself a nice treats.

Haha, now this is unusual coz we even soja-ed my eldest bro just to get his ang pao. note: He's not married yet.
Later after that, we usually head to the temple to pray before we start the house visiting part.

In koh poh seh house where other relative will soja the elderly.
elderly sounds bad huh.. hahahaha!!

my nephew.. hehe
my cousin's dog Bobo was dressed nicely on CNY.

U know.. I have to act cute just to take a picture with her coz she's just too cute... I dun wan myself to look like as though I'm so freaking old here. lol.
Basically, there's nothing interesting during this year's CNY. I didn't even visit any of my friend's house. All I did was gamble with my family.... haha.. the results? let's just say I'm in a bad luck then. :( Hmm.. I guess that's about it la, a boring CNY this year.
